There is creativity in my midst. I am surrounded by artists of all manner. My friends and acquaintances inspire me - and I am hoping that all the creativity in my midst will help me find my own discipline to focus on my creative energies this year as a way of processing all that has happened, and to get through the topsy turvy of the last months....The days of not working are stretchimg out ahead of me, and my creative energy is emerging. I am inspired.
Now if only trouble would sleep a few hours each day in his bassinet/cot/rocker/on our bed....anywhere but on me, so I could actually start something.....
Meanwhile, let me introduce you to the people in my midst that I am friends with, or acquainted with (friends waiting to happen):
Jo olive makes books. She prints, and cuts, and sews and binds, and makes beautiful paper creations;
Tamsin is a children's book illustrator;
Helle Jorgensen is the crochet artist that taught me to crochet;
B Smith, Nikki Schippard, and Tiffany Calder Kingston are all creative ones inspiring me. And then there is the Hey Maker collective.
This gaggle of creative women to get my creative juices flowing, and have a cuppa with along the way!
So much out there to inspire - just a matter of getting started, and baby letting me!!
